joyeux vendredi!

happy crimbo! i had a very nice visit with my family in san antonio, where it was 75 degrees and sunny all weekend. we went hiking and drank shiner bock in the backyard under the mesquite trees. we had tamales and chili for christmas dinner. :) i got some very pretty clothes, a new watch, smelly bath stuffs and a new translation of the egyptian book of the dead. rock!

i bought a pair of these boots yesterday:



i'm wearing them today. my ownership of these boots does not in any way lessen my desire for the boots mentioned in the previous post. as you can clearly see, those boots are for rain. these boots are for snow.

(they're all fleecy on the inside. :) my feet are so warm and toasty right now...)

it's a glorious new dawn! we revamped the shortpants press site! a bigger, better home for the gag panel challenge, a shortpants store, a forum, and other surprises. we're still sorting out the links (we need to seriously update those) and writing a sort of mission statement, and working on a release schedule for next year. but the important things are there. go check it out! :D
