please give a warm welcome to the newest household kitty, The Venerable Madame Cheng I Sao, Widow Pirate. you may call her mrs. cheng, although dave calls her "the widder".





she's missing an eye, no doubt a souvenir from one of her grand adventures on the high seas, terrorizing the 19th century chinese coast. or it could be from an evil dog that attacked her. the shelter thought it was a dog. but they also thought her name was "bella", so they could be wrong on both counts. :)

greta does not like The Venerable Madame Cheng I Sao, Widow Pirate just yet, but we are confident that with patience over the next few weeks, the two will become fast friends, and perhaps build a pirate fleet of their own.
